At Africa Adix Safaris, our Terms & Conditions provide essential information on our services and the mutual responsibilities between our guests and us. We strive to create a trustworthy environment where every participant understands the rules and guidelines that govern their safari experience.

Africa Adix Safaris: Terms and Conditions

 

By booking and participating in our safari experiences, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure you understand your rights and responsibilities.

1. Booking and Deposits
1.1. A non-refundable deposit of 00% of the daily rate is required to confirm your booking.
1.2. The remaining balance of the daily rate must be paid no later than 0 days before your arrival at camp. Payment can be made via wire transfer, credit card (subject to a 00% processing fee), or other arrangements agreed upon in advance.
1.3. Any additional balances for hunts, including trophy fees, are due one day before departure from camp.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future booking if cancellation occurs at least 60 days prior to the safari start date.
2.2. Cancellations made less than 60 days before the safari start date will result in forfeiture of the deposit and any additional payments made.
2.3. Changes to booking dates are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

3. Payment Methods

3.1. Accepted payment methods include wire transfers, credit cards (with a 5% fee), cash, or checks (by prior arrangement).
3.2. Payments must be completed before the last day of the safari.
4. Included in Daily Rates
4.1. The daily rate covers:

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off
  • Accommodation within the hunting area
  • Professional hunter services
  • Skilled skinners and trackers
  • Trophy handling (skinning, caping, and transport to a local taxidermist)
  • Meals, beverages (coffee, tea, water, soda, and local beer), and laundry services

5. Exclusions

5.1. The following are not included in the daily rates:

  • Airfare and travel expenses
  • Pre- and post-safari accommodations
  • Firearm permits or rentals
  • Taxidermy fees, trophy export, and shipping
  • Gratuities for staff and professional hunters
  • Travel Insurance

6. Trophy Fees and Permits

6.1. Trophy fees for all species are outlined in the Species Price List.
6.2. Certain species are subject to CITES quotas and/or TOPS permits, which must be arranged prior to the hunt.

7. Safety and Conduct

7.1. All participants are required to adhere to safety guidelines provided by Africa Adix Safaris staff.
7.2. Adix Safaris Africa reserves the right to terminate a participant’s safari without a refund if safety rules or staff instructions are disregarded, or if behavior is deemed disruptive or unsafe.

8. Liability

8.1. Africa Adix Safaris is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the safari.
8.2. Participants are responsible for obtaining travel insurance, including medical and evacuation coverage.
8.3. Africa Adix Safaris is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, political unrest, or transportation disruptions.

9. Photography and Media

9.1. By participating in a safari, you consent to the use of photos or videos taken during the experience for promotional purposes unless otherwise specified in writing.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10.2. Any disputes arising from your safari experience will be resolved in accordance with South African law.
